The SNOR device and application are designed to eliminate snoring. SNOR is a simulator for training the muscles of the soft palate and tongue to restore their volume and tone.

Figure 2 shows all parts of the SNOR device removed from the box:
SNOR electronic device
EMG sensor for tongue muscle training
Two "AAA" batteries
Phone stand
Set of tubes (44 pcs.) for soft palate muscle training
Packaging bag
3. How the Device and App Work (Brief Sequence of Actions)
Muscle training is divided into two stages. First, the soft palate muscles are trained, followed by the tongue muscles.
3.1. This is performed using a sucking effort where the target muscles are tensed with maximum force. A plastic tube is inserted into the device (Fig. 1A), and the other end is placed in the mouth (Fig. 1B). Your task is to perform a sucking action, similar to drinking a cocktail through a straw. By performing this action repeatedly and with sufficient force, you train the soft palate muscles. A sensor built into the SNOR device measures the strength of your muscle tension and displays it on your phone screen.
3.2. Tongue muscle training is carried out by repeatedly pressing the tongue strongly upward against the hard palate. The tension force of the tongue muscles is monitored by an EMG sensor pressed against the skin in the sublingual area (Fig. 2).
4. Preparing the SNOR Device for Operation.
4.1. Download the SNOR application to your phone or tablet via the Apple App Store or Google Play. 4.2. Install two "AAA" batteries into the device. 4.3. When opening the SNOR app for the first time, allow it to connect to the device via Bluetooth (BLE).
5. Conducting a Training Session
5.1. Soft Palate Muscle Training:
Press the "START TRAINING" button and read the instructions.
Perform the test to measure the strength of your soft palate muscles. Save the result.
Perform EXERCISE #1. Your task, strictly following the voice commands, is to make five strong sucking efforts. Monitor your performance using the information on your phone screen: the graph should be similar to Fig. 4. Repeat the exercise several times, resting between repetitions. Save your result.
Perform EXERCISE #2. Your task is to change your muscle tension in steps. The tension graph must stay within the shape formed by the colored squares (Fig. 5). Try to perform the exercise as accurately as possible, following the instructions. Repeat the exercise several times. Save your result.
Perform EXERCISE #3. You are required to maintain a medium-level effort for an extended period. The ability to watch the video on your phone screen (its turning on and off) depends on the strength of your muscle tension. Save your result.
5.2. Tongue Muscle Training:
Press the "START TRAINING" button and read the instructions.
Perform the test to measure the strength of your tongue muscles. Save the result.
Sequentially perform EXERCISES #1, #2, and #3 to train the tongue muscles. The procedure for performing these exercises is the same as for training the soft palate muscles. The difference is that you tense your tongue muscles and use the EMG sensor, which must be pressed against the sublingual area while performing the exercises.
6. Viewing Training Results
Use the "RESULTS" button to open the window with the results of your completed sessions (Fig. 7).
7. Video Selection
You can independently select a video from YouTube to be shown during rest periods and in Exercise #3. Use the "VIDEO" button to do this.
